How review works

From your working model to a recorded sign-off, in three steps.

1
Save a version
Each save is a numbered version with your note on what changed. Compare any two to see which assumptions moved and how far the result moved with them.
2
Assumptions carry their source
The assumptions register lists each input with its value, where it came from, who owns it, who last changed it and what it was before.
3
Send a read-only link
Your auditor, lender or board opens that version without an account, reads the figures, the assumptions and the checks, and records a sign-off or asks for changes.

Versions and review links are available on the business valuation, project appraisal, LBO and planning models. You choose how long a link works and can switch it off at any time.

Built to be questioned

Most tools give you an answer. This one shows you where it came from and what might be wrong with it.

33
Judgment rules
That is the count in the public company valuation. Terminal growth above GDP? Terminal value at 40x cash flow? Each rule that fires asks you to justify the number. Business valuation and project appraisal raise their own flags.
0
Black boxes
Each model lists the conventions it used and the checks it ran. The valuation, project appraisal and management pack exports are Excel formulas, not pasted values. Auditable, not audited: you can check it, and you should.
